The 20th Arab International Aluminium Conference (“ARABAL”), the Middle East's premiere aluminium industry event, opened its doors today at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, UAE. To be held from 22 to 24 November 2016, the two-day ARABAL conference and associated exhibition is expected to witness a mega congregation of more than 2,000 international delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and visitors from 40 countries across the globe. The event is hosted by Emirates Global Aluminium (“EGA”) for the sixth time this year under the able patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance.

ARABAL is the biggest aluminium industry event of the Middle East wherein all the primary aluminium producers of the region namely Aluminium Bahrain BSC (“Alba”), Aluminium Company of Egypt (“Egyptalum”), Ma’aden Aluminium Company from Saudi Arabia, Sohar Aluminium from Oman, Qatalum from Qatar, and UAE's EGA come forward to welcome the global aluminium fraternity presenting them with the unique opportunity to conduct business, discuss industry challenges and identify emerging opportunities in untapped markets.

This year, ARABAL will focus on the Gulf aluminium industry perspectives, the market outlook, China’s influence on the market, sustainability, scrap and recycling, operations and technology, end-user perspective, and future of the global aluminium industry- all under the theme of “Global Challenges – Seeking Solutions." The keynote panel discussion at the conference sessions will explore various implications of the fluctuating energy prices and corresponding policy changes delving deeper into downstream industry prospects and upstream integration.

ARABAL 2016 conference, just like its previous editions, is continued professional development (“CPD”) certified. The delegates can show their certificates to claim CPD hours earned by attending the conference.

This year's ARABAL will see more than 50 players from the global aluminium value chain showcasing their products, technology solutions, and services at the exhibition. The prolific exhibitor's profile features names of companies like General Electric (Gold sponsor), ABB, Abu Dhabi Ports, Egyptanode, Fives, Rockwell Automation, Mecfor, Sun Power Gen, and Siwertell. Each of them will be displaying their own signature range of aluminium products for special applications, aluminium extraction processing and refining solutions, equipment and machinery for aluminium products manufacturing, surface treatment, aluminium recycling, and others.

AlCircle being a premium media partner-cum-exhibitor of the event will be showcasing their state-of-the-art services tailor-made for the aluminium industry players at STAND-E5. Watch this space for more updates from the Middle East’s biggest business networking platform.
