    Top three nonferrous metals exported in Yunnan from January to August

    From January to August, total import and export volume of Yunnan reached 7.06 billion dollars, up 29.6% year-on-year, ranking 22 in the country. It exported 3.47 billion dollars, up 20.5%; imported 3.6 billion yuan, up 39.7%,  trade gap 0.13 billion dollars.


    Yuannan imported and exported 0.68 billion dollars in August, up 4.7%; of which imported 0.29 billion yuan, down 13.7%, exported 0.39 billion dollars, up 23.8%. The month import volume witnessed the year’s first slid, resulting from less import of metallic mineral ore which was 0.13 billion dollars, down 31.2%. 


    Trade gap in the past eight months reached 0.72 billion dollars, up 64%, of which Germany ranked top for 0.27 billion yuan, up 1.3 times.


    In the past eight months, export of fertilizer, agriculture products and nonferrous metal ranked top three for 0.87, 0.48 and 0.33 billion dollars respectively. The former two increased 92.4% and 28.6% respectively, while nonferrous metal down 45.5%.


    Yunnan imported metallic mineral ore 1.75 billion yuan, up 8.8%, sulphur 0.9 billion dollars, up 5.8 times, wood 0.11 billion dollars, up 55.3%. These three products ranked top three in products exported in Yunnan from January to August.
