 Century aluminum won the profit of 64.2 million U.S dollars in the first quarter, with 1.87 U.S dollars per share earnings. Compared to last year, it had a loss 141.6 million U.S dollars year-on-year, with 4.39 U.S dollars per share loss.

Century aluminum company said that the income increased by 29% to 447.7 million U.S dollars from 346.9 million U.S dollars

Thomas Financial Analysts predicted that in the first quarter century Aluminum would profit 1.95 U.S. dollars per share, with total revenue 445.5 million U.S dollars.
