Reynolds Manufacturing has announced plans of expansion at its west Louisville wrap aluminium foil manufacturing plant that would add up to 50 jobs.
According to an official release, the company received approvals from the State officials on Thursday for an economic development subsidy amounting up to $650,000 to be paid out over a period of 10 years, provided Reynolds sticks to its plan and keeps updating the concerned authority about the progress at stipulated intervals.
The downstream aluminium project will create significant employment opportunities in the region.
The plant is located at Hale Avenue in Parkland. According to the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority, which approved the subsidy for Reynolds on Thursday said the expansion is aimed at leveraging "the growth of the aluminium foil category and projected increases in production.”
