Industrial lighting company Larson Electronics announced addition of a 70 watt metal halide explosion proof quadpod mounted work light to its extensive range of offerings in the lighting equipment category.
The new EPL-BS-70-TP1-100 explosion proof work light is a quadpod mounted light that provides 5,500 lumens of light coverage 7,000 square feet of work area. It is a portable light tower and comes fitted with a removable light head assembly mounted on top of a four leg aluminium stand. The quadpod is equipped with wheels that enable easy transportation of the lighting device from one work space to another. One big advantage of the equipment is- it can be assembled, adjusted and collapsed at the same time. The twelve-foot long quadpod can be collapsed to five and a half feet to suit changing height requirements.
NewsThe 70 watt metal halide light fixture is constructed of thick copper free aluminium alloy powder coated with a thermoset finish, which makes it ideal for use in marine environments. The lamp assembly also includes an aluminium finished reflector. The lens is constructed of thermal shock and impact resistant tempered glass.
The EPL-BS-70-TP1-100 is a heavy duty unit designed for use in inclement conditions and for overall longevity in difficult construction environments with heavy duty aluminium construction and stainless steel hardware for maximum durability.
"The collapsible design of this explosion proof work light provides hassle-free portability and stowing," said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. "This unit is designed for close work applications in hazardous locations where safety, detail, and accuracy is critical."
