Xinwen Mining obtains coal exploration license in Australia

Shandong-based Xinwen Mining Group Ltd, the third largest coal miner in China, announced that it agreed to pay US$1.2 billion for coal exploration permits in Australia to expand its overseas market. Xinwen will acquire the Teresa coal exploration license in Queensland State from Australia-listed Linc Energy Ltd, according to the Brisbane-based company's filing
