Chalco cuts capital expenditure in mainland China by 20%

Aluminium Corporation of China indicated in the recent mid-term achievement release that it would cut capital expenditure by 20-30% in mainland China this year.

Xiao Yaqing said that Chalco had taken different strategies countering cost rise, such as invest on coal projects in Henan and Gansu, strengthen independent electric generation which is 20% above last year.

Projects of electric plants related are under negotiation.
