Nordic Aluminium introduces WarmCore aluminium folding door system with high thermal efficiency

Leeds-based HWLWindows group company Nordic Aluminium has announced the addition of Synseal’s innovative WarmCore aluminium folding sliding door system to its prolific product portfolio. With this expansion of product basket, the leading manufacturer of bespoke aluminium windows and doors has inched closer to its target consumers across the U.S. market.

WarmCore being built from aluminium showcases enhanced durability and desirability and is designed to provide unmatched insulation. Each part of the bi-fold doors has an orange thermal core that ensures 25 per cent more insulation than the traditional aluminium windows and doors systems available in the market. It comes with built-in security, reinforced by the ERA Five Star security guarantee, plus a product guarantee of ten years from the brand. 

Nordic Aluminium, which moved in to its new 5,000 sq ft premises in 2015, has climbed up the value chain in the fabricated windows, bi-folds, entrance doors and shopfronts space using high-end Smart and Sapa systems. The newly added warmCore system will further enable the company to manufacture dual-colour, bi-folded aluminium doors with thermal efficiencies matching that offered by PVC, in a faster turnaround time.

“WarmCore is a game changer in the aluminium market. With U Value’s as low as 1.0 with triple glazing and 1.4 with double, it rivals many PVC systems but with the aesthetics of aluminium, which is becoming increasingly popular,” said Graham Howatson, Operations Director at Nordic Aluminium.
