    High relativity of aluminium industry

    Aluminium is a major raw material of consumer goods manufacturing, raw material manufacturing and equipment manufacturing. Relativity of aluminium industry is as high as 91%, in which the relativity with GDP reaches 0.933; it is one of the nonferrous industries that contributes most to the society in China.


    According to introduction of State Economic and Trade Commission, among the 124 industries in China, there are 113 (91%) of them are using aluminium products; among the 101 material production industries, 96 (95) of them consume aluminium smelting products or forging products; among 23 non-material production industries, 17 (74%) of them consume aluminium smelting or forging products. If calculated by input and output table, aluminium products consumed in raw material manufacturing accounts for 32.6% of those of the total 124 industries and equipment manufacturing accounts for 58.3%.


    Aluminium consumption level is highly related to GDP in China with the linearly dependent coefficient exceeding 0.9 (Max 1), reaching 0.933; and copper 0.921. aluminium industry is one of those with highest contribution rate, its total asset contribution rate is above 10% in the recent two years.
