    Xiao Yaqing indicates this not the best time to purchase Jiaozuo Wanfang

    Annual report of Chalco reveals that the company’s sales income falls 7% to 39.607 billion yuan, purity profit falls 65% to 2.41 billion yuan, profit per stock .0178 yuan, planed dividend per share 5.2 fen.


    Board Chairman Xiao Yaqing indicates that a series purchase in the previous three years contributed, to some degree, to the profit in H1, and offset the lose brought by lower price of alumina.


    Besides, Xiao indicates, general development of Chalco in H1 is stable. Though alumina cost increased 24% year-on-year, proportion of total profits lifted to 54% from the previous 47%. Electrolytic aluminium cost rose 5% year-on-year, proportion of total profits fell to 46%.


    As for overseas purchase in the industry, Xiao indicates that the company’s stress is resources and energy, and more efforts will be contributed to integration of purchased companies. The company has not worked out specifications on purchase of Jiaozuo Wanfang as it is not a best time at present.
