National Aluminium Company reports 41% drop in Q4 net profit

National Aluminium Company has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted a fall of 41.40% in its net profit at Rs 207.94 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 354.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 3.40% at Rs 2030.15 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1963.31 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a fall of 44.70% in its net profit at Rs 731.01 crore as compared to Rs 1321.85 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company decreased 8.73% at Rs 7352.57crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8055.45 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 44.70% in its net profit at Rs 731.01 crore as compared to Rs 1321.9 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has decreased by 8.73% at Rs 7352.64 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8055.53 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
