China aluminum holding co., ltd announced Tuesday that the yield of alumina increased by 13% in the first quarter, the average price of which declined 26%.
¡¡¡¡The company said that so far as 31 march, it has produced 2.4 million tons of alumina in these three years. China aluminum is the world¡¯s second largest alumina manufacturer, only following aluminum company of America.
  China aluminum claimed that over the same period the average price of alumina dropped to 368 U.S dollars per ton. Alumina is the raw material for aluminum production.
 ¡¡¡¡ China aluminum said that the output of aluminum in the first quarter was 66 million tons, an increase of 81% year-on-year. The average price of aluminum increased by 1% to 1.02 U.S dollars.
