China Zhongwang Holdings, China’s top industrial aluminium extruder, paints a rosy picture of automotive aluminium market, National Business Daily reported.
The company is building the world’s single largest aluminium rolling project in terms of designed annual capacity, the media added. The project, located in Tianjin, specializes in production of aluminium alloy medium-thick plate used in aircrafts, ships, commercial and special vehicles and chemical containers, etc.
The first phase of the project has an annual designed capacity of 1.8 million tonnes and consists of two production lines. The first line is in debugging process and scheduled to enter operations before the end of this year, National Business Daily reported.
