15 pct levy on aluminium alloy hit aluminium price

Export of aluminium alloy will down in H2, increasing pressure on aluminium supply in domestic market.

Besides, price fall of oil and sea transportation lowers cost of alumyte import, therefore, aluminium price will suffer another slide.

The above two factors are fatal to domestic aluminium price.

While to international aluminium price, the result is different, as up and down of domestic and international market is reverse.

In a short period, at least, up of levy on aluminium export will support LME aluminium price, because decrease of export can ease supply pressure in the international market and help to consume the stock.

18000 yuan/ton of Shanghai aluminium is considered ¡°cost price¡±. However, primary aluminium price is strikingly different as they come from different sources.

Therefore, price cut in a large degree is unrealistic for the present price or a even lower one. In our opinion, 18000 yuan is not the bottom on concerning the cost less attended than consumption.
