Aluminum Price Drop Sharply, Fushun Aluminum¡¯s Stop Production of Electrolytic Aluminum

(China Aluminum Network) It is learned that Fushun Aluminum’s annual production capacity was about 300 thousand tons, while Laincheng Branch‘s production capacity was 190 thousand tons. According to SMM the country’s annual electrolytic aluminum production capacity in 2015 is about 39,000,000 tons which is oversupply.  The cut down of Chinalco plays little impact on the growth of aluminum price.

Aluminum price drop sharply resulted in the decline of company’s profits and caused production halts. Furthermore, Fushun Aluminum without captive power plant, many reasons caused electrolytic aluminum production halts.
