Reynaers Aluminium Romania aims to increase its turnover by 75% in 2015

Reynaers Aluminium Romania, one of the main European leaders in aluminium solutions for the constructions industry, aims at a 7 million Euros turnover by the end of this year, which means a 75% increase compared with last year’s business. Also, the company plans to reach a 10% market share on the local aluminium joinery market.

After 10 years of activity in Romania, Reynaers counts on a 7 million Euros business and a 10% market share on the aluminium joinery market. The aluminium joinery market has increased by 10-15% in 2015. AFI Park, Oregon Park, Metropol Offices, Malmo Office Towers are the main projects for which Reynaers has delivered products this year.

“AFI Park, Oregon Park, Metropol Offices, Malmo Office Towers, as well as institutions such as Clujana Hospital, are among the most important projects in which we’ve been involved this year. These projects, together with the growth of our team, are the main reasons underlying our financial estimates”, said Daniel Popa, Country Manager Reynaers Aluminium Romania.

Profiles for curtain facades – 60% of business

Currently, Reynaers Aluminium Romania delivers on the local market aluminium solutions for doors, windows, curtain walls, sliding systems, sunshades systems and greenhouses. All these products are manufactured in Duffel, Belgium, where the company’s production unit is located.

Regarding the types of products delivered on the local market, according to Daniel Popa, 60% of the local sales are generated by profiles for curtain facades. In second place, with 30% of the total sales, are markers for doors and windows, while the rest is assigned to sliding doors.

Aluminium Joinery Market – 10-15% increase in 2015 According to the company’s representative, the development of Reynaers Aluminium Romania is also determined by the market’s slight increase, especially in the residential area, and also by the changes that have appeared in the local buyers’ acquisition behaviour.

“We were very glad to see the clients changing their buying behaviour. Now, they are looking more into premium aluminium joinery products and curtain facades, and less into the medium range”, also said Daniel Popa.

According to him, compared with 2014, the orders on this market have increased by 10-15% this year, given the fact that only on the residential market a 10% increase could be seen in the first 9 months of the year.
