China's National Bureau of Statistics Thursday announced that the first quarter of this year, China's output of aluminum products increased by 43% over the same period of last year, which reflecting the continued strong expansion of domestic aluminum smelters.
The output of alumina in the first quarter increased by 53.7% over the same period of last year, but the Bureau of Statistics didn’t give output data.
Over the past few years, the government used many ways withhold the rapid expansion of china aluminum industry, such as reducing bank borrowing, strengthening environmental monitor and detaining the construction permits.
But many temporarily closed smelting factories reopen again after the adjustment of tariff by the government, so the production of china’s downstream aluminum products increases.
