    China Gengsheng Minerals, Inc. Wins Fracture Proppants Contract with Huabei Oil Management

    Company to Deliver 1,000 Tons of Material to Enhance Oil Field Yield


    China GengshengMinerals, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CHGS), a materials technology company in China with products capable of withstanding high temperature, saving energy and boosting productivity in certain industries such as steel and oil, today announced that it has signed a fracture proppants supply contract with Huabei Oil Management Company in Renqiu, Hebei province.


    According to the contract, Gengsheng will start shipping a total of 1,000 tons of high-density fracture proppants immediately through July 31, 2009.


    In the first half of 2008, the Company has inked a total of $5.3 million contracts to supply fracture proppants to major Chinese oil companies, including China National Petroleum Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, and China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation.
