Baotou Produced 300 Thousand Tons of Electrolytic Aluminum in H1

(China Aluminum Network) It is learned that distribution of industry of Baotou has got further optimizing as the industrial distribution “East-aluminum, West-steel, South-High-tech, and North-package”.

Xiwang Aluminum’s 500 thousand tons electrolytic aluminum project will start construction outside current site and Baotou Aluminum’s 500 thousand tons alloy project puts into effect, Donghe Aluminum Industry Park’s aluminum industry core is moving to the East. In the first half year, electrolytic aluminum’s capacity has reached 550 thousand tons, proportion in the whole city has raised 4%; the output reached 300 thousand tons, up 35.9% yoy.
