Trulite Glass and Aluminum plans $119,500 worth expansion in Grenada

Officials from Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions recently announced the company is expanding operations at its facility in Grenada.

The project represents a corporate investment of $119,500 and will create 15 jobs, bringing employment at the facility to 133.

"I appreciate the team at Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions for choosing to expand its capacity in Grenada and create new jobs for the area's workers," Gov. Phil Bryant said. "Mississippi's existing companies are significant contributors to local economies and the state as a whole, and when they choose to grow in our state, it serves as a testament to the competitive business advantages Mississippi offers companies seeking long-term growth and success."

"This opportunity to add jobs and expand production capabilities will serve to strengthen our company's position in the manufacture of glass products," said Wayne Smith, general manager of Trulite's Grenada facility. "We are pleased to be able to bring these new jobs to Grenada and to continue to contribute to the growth of the economy here."

Mississippi Development Authority and the city of Grenada provided assistance in support of the project for building improvements.

"The teamwork of the Grenada County Economic Development District, the city of Grenada and Mississippi Development Authority helped make Trulite's expansion possible, which will also contribute to developing an even stronger local economy well into the future. We have faith that the Trulite team will achieve many more years of successful operations in Grenada."

Trulite is a leading U.S. manufacturer of architectural glass products, architectural aluminum products, fabricated glass, all-glass entrances and decorative glass and mirrors. From its Grenada location, Trulite supplies various distributors, fabricators and contract glaziers throughout the U.S. with mirror and laminated glass products.
