Today William King supplies metal products globally, and is an industry leader in the supply of steel strip mill and aluminium products. The company supplies all the major metal consuming sectors, including the automotive, consumer durable, packaging and construction industries.

William King Director Andrew Worley said: "We are delighted to join ALFED, and look forward to both deriving benefits from membership and contributing to the sector. Management of the distribution chain for all our products is our core focus, and we believe ALFED and its members can help us achieve continual improvement in the aluminium area.”

Snelsons, the other new member, manufactures and finishes a wide range of aluminium components, mainly from aluminium extrusions supplied by Snelsons, or customers’ own free issue profile. Clients range from large retail outlets, kitchen and bathroom manufacturers, cooker and gas fire manufacturers, to the automotive, building and electronics industries.
