Nanshan Aluminium H1 net profit down 19.01%

H1 report released August 16 revealed that during this period, Nanshan Aluminium realized sales income 3,648,308,100 yuan, down 4.8% year-on-year; net profit 473,882,300 yuan, down 19.1% year-on-year; fully diluted basic earnings 0.36 yuan per share, down 18.18% year-on-year.

According to the report, the company has taken positive strategies to confront the international crisis of energy shortage, high inflatation, RMB appreciation and export rebates revision that brought series hardship.

The straggles include ease the pressure brought by soar of primary material prices, increase output, promote research and production of high added value products, such as alumina, aluminium profile, hot rolling coil and cold rolling coil, which up 129.87%, 16.46%, 354.80%, 3134.60% and 16.09% respectively year-on-year.

In order to ensure stable business performance, the company is to strengthen cost management, upgrade products, further bring its information network into full paly and stress the project of new type alloy material production line.
