    Chinese industrial value added output in July up by 14.7% YoY

    China Knowledge quoted National Bureau of Statistics report that, China's industrial value added output in July grew 14.7% YoY and the growth rate is 3.3 percentage points lower from a year earlier.


    Several industries have greatly contributed to the output gains. For instance, output of textile sectors up by 10.0% YoY, that of chemicals and chemical products was up by 15.5% YoY, non ferrous mineral products output rose 15.5% YoY and ferrous metals and processing output surged 13.9% YoY.


    In terms of major products, crude coal and oil as well as electricity generation totaled 220 million tonnes up by 10.9% YoY, 16.17 million tonnes up by 5.0% YoY and 319.5 billion kilowatt hours up by 8.1% YoY respectively. Meanwhile, raw iron output increased 4.9% to reach 41.98 million tonnes, with 44.89 million tonnes of crude steel and 51.01million tonnes of steel products, representing increment of 7.5% and 7.0% respectively. In addition, output of cement was 120 million tonnes up by 6.3% YoY and that of auto rose 13.2% to 757,000 units with sedans up 8.0% to 413,000 units.


    In July, China's sale to production ratio was 98.10% down 0.23 percentage points from a year earlier. Export shipments amounted to CNY 697.7 billion up 14.4% YoY over the same period of last year.
