    Aluminum/steel Conductor Rail Project Launched in Tianjing

    (China Aluminum Network) Tianjing Brecknell Willis aluminum/steel conductor rail project has officially launched in Tianjing. After completion of this project will form production capacity of 260 kilometers single line rail way, and will be substitutes for imported goods to fill up the gap of new type conductor rail in Tianjing.

    Aluminum/steel conductor rail adopts high strength and high conductivity I-shaped aluminum alloy profiles, mainly applies to urban mass transit and electrified railways power transmission system. Compared with mild steel conductor rail, it is low resistance, light weight, nonperishable and less abrasion, can save power more than 60% and extend service life over 50 years.

    It is learned that Tianjing Brecknell Willis will import international advanced equipments, depend on combined conductor rail section and affiliated component production technology patent, and engage in design and type-selection, production supply, installation, test and maintenance of full set of conductor rail.
