The repairing work at Logan Aluminium Inc is running six days ahead of schedule with the repaired reversing motor ready to be installed at the company’s hot mill at Russellville, Kentucky.

Logan Aluminium is a leading manufacturer of primarily beverage-can sheets with two kinds of flat-rolled aluminium alloys, the 5182 alloy sheet for the top and tab of the aluminium can and 3104 alloy for the bodies.

The production is expected to restart in the next two days after being offline since December 29.
