West Coast Florida Enterprises (WCFE) is proud to welcome Tim “Opie” Faas to their team. Faas will be overseeing the company’s newest division, Custom Aluminum Fabrications.
Vice President of WCFE E. Scott Otey says Faas is helping the company expand its services. “We have always “dabbled” in custom aluminum fabrications, but with Tim, WCFE will be ready to provide a vast array of custom fabricated aluminum and ornamental specialties, including – but not limited to – railings, shade structures, stairs, cladding and much more!”
Faas was formerly the owner and president of Concepts in Aluminum, a southwest Florida aluminum fabrication company. He brings with him more than 30 years of experience, plus plenty of specialty equipment, that will directly benefit WCFE customers.
Originally from Iowa, Faas moved to Southwest Florida in 1971 with his family. When he was a sophomore in high school, he took his first job as an apprentice in the aluminum fabrication business with his neighbor. He set up his own shingle in 1983, growing his business to support his family over the decades. Now that his three boys are grown and on to careers of their own, Faas is happy for this new opportunity to share his craft and expertise with WCFE.
“We are super excited about his arrival and look forward to growing this division to better serve the local community,” Otey said.
