Global primary aluminum output up in Oct - IAI

According to the preliminary data from the International Aluminum Institute, global primary aluminum daily average output was around 144,400 tonnes in October, lower than 145,800 tonnes in September.

Global primary aluminum production totaled some 4.13 million tonnes in October, increasing by 147,000 tonnes from the same time last year.

The IAI also announced primary aluminum daily average output in Asia increased by 9,000 tonnes to 203,000 tonnes in October.
