Chalco: No news undisclosed, in response to H share dive

Aluminum Corp of China (Chalco, 601600. SH; 2600.HK) announced Tuesday that it had not been aware of the causes for recent abnormal sharp price slump in Hong Kong, which amounted to 11.6 percent in three days. 

Chalco said in a statement that it had no idea about the fall except for lifting the alumina price on August 1.

Chalco further shed 7.827 percent Tuesday to close at 6.83 HK dollars.
