China’s 2nd largest aluminum smelter – Xinjiang East Hope Nonferrous Metals Co. – has signed aluminum liquid supply agreements with 6 aluminum processors in inland China, a local website reported on Thursday.
Under these agreements, these six aluminum processors will build plants in Xinjiang for easy access to aluminum liquid produced by Xinjiang East Hope Nonferrous Metals Co.
Once implemented, this move will help cut Xinjiang East Hope Nonferrous Metals Co.’s production cuts by 800 yuan ($ 130) per tonne, it added.
