The Aluminum Association Releases 2014 North America Aluminum Industry Plant Directory

Aluminum Association released the 2014 edition of the North American Aluminum Industry Plant Directory. The Directory is the industry’s only complete resource offering the most up-to-date details on 488 plants (excluding foundries) known to be operating in North America as of August 2014. This is the latest update of a directory last published in 2012.

The 2014 edition covers 405 aluminum plants in the United States, 52 plants in Canada and 31 plants in Mexico. The Directory provides plant location, types of products produced, contact information and affiliated websites. The directory is divided into sections -- organized alphabetically, by location, and by mill product.

The new edition of the Directory also better emphasizes membership in the Aluminum Association with a logo marking each member plant.

“In an industry that is constantly changing, the 2014 directory serves as the most up-to-date resource on North American aluminum plant information,” said Ryan Olsen, Aluminum Association Vice President for Business Information and Statistics. “This is an invaluable resource for any company or industry-watcher operating in this space.”

• Suppliers: Suppliers of goods and services to the aluminum industry can use the directory to further develop their customer base; • Active Aluminum Producers, Fabricators and Recyclers: The Directory enables existing companies to better understand the current marketplace; • End Users: End use customers can use the Directory as a resource to find new or additional providers of aluminum products.
