The Demand of Aluminum in China Will up 10.5% in 2014

(China Aluminum Network) According to the report from Macquarie Bank displayed the demand of aluminum in China will increase 10.5% in 2014, in the second half year may increase 11%, due to the support from auto, infrastructure and package industry.
The bank stated though the demand in H2 will continue rise, the potential fundamentals was weak and H1 surplus 605 thousand tons.

In 2014, the aluminum production in China is expected increase to 28000 thousand tons, domestic supply surplus may about 1200 thousand tons.

In the global, aluminum supply surplus will shift to 480 thousand tons in next year, this year short supply 150 thousand tons, while from 2016-2018 will shift to short supply

This year is the first shortage since 2007.
