HK Hot Stocks - Resources tank, HKEx tumbles

The China Enterprises Index .HSCE of top locally listed Chinese firms had fallen 2.2 percent.

Here are some stocks on the move in early trade:

*Aluminum Corp of China (2600.HK: Quote, Profile, Research), known as Chalco, undeperformed the broad market with a 4.2 percent drop after it cut its spot alumina price by 8.6 percent with effect from Friday. It was Chalco's second alumina price reduction since June.

*Coal miner China Shenhua Energy (1088.HK: Quote, Profile, Research) slipped 3.4 percent, on worries that the extended pullback in oil prices may soften coal prices.

*Bourse operator Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx) (0388.HK: Quote, Profile, Research) fell 3 percent to HK$112.80 after Credit Suisse cut its rating on the stock to underperform from neutral on Thursday. The brokerage also slashed its target price on the stock to HK$90 from HK$150 on dwindling trading activity and falling investment income.
