(China Aluminum Network) The following two reasons caused production control in prebaked anode companies.

Firstly, slow payment in prebaked anode companies. In order to fit capital turnover, many prebaked anode companies started production control, the prebaked anode operation rate in Zhongzheng Carbon was 33%, while the rate of Danyuan Carbon was lower than 5%.

Owing to serious loss in electrolytic aluminum factories caused tight budget and delayed the payment efficiency, some aluminum factories even detained ten million Yuan of payment.

Secondly, production cut down in electrolytic aluminum factories influenced the demand of prebaked anode. It is learned that Shanxi Guanlv Carbon factory has cut down 3000 tons prebaked anode output owing to the shut down of electrolytic aluminium capacity.
