    Primary aluminium’s global demand expected to be up by 7pct in the year 2014 – Alcoa

    Primary aluminium’s global demand is expected to rise by 7% in the year 2014 as a result of the huge growth in China, said an Alcoa senior executive. Timothy Reyes, Alcoa material management’s president, said in a conference the company was expecting the demand for Chinese primary aluminium to rise by 10% in 2014, based on 7.5% economic growth target in China.
