(China Aluminum Network) CHALCO Liancheng Branch’s casting factory took full advantage of idled equipments, smelted recycled aluminum particles, aluminum skimmings to cast new aluminum ingots and aluminum blocks, efforts to reduce production cost.

It is learned that in order to reduce the impacts brought by unstable export sales of liquid aluminum, CHALCO Liancheng Branch’s casting factory conducted flexible production at the ordinary aluminum area. When the export sales of liquid aluminum increased, the factory will open two production lines and organize another production line to utilize aluminum ash of No.4 holding furnace to dispose recycled aluminum particles.

Since the end of March, the factory organized employee to make use of the old moulding floor’s idled intermediate frequency furnace to smelt aluminum particles and aluminum skimmings. Now it has casted more than to tons of aluminum blocks.
