Industrial Added Value of Zhengzhou Aluminum Industry Up 13.3%

(China Aluminium Network) In Q1 the industrial added value of Zhengzhou aluminum industry was up 13.3% yoy, up 1% m-o-m and 2.9% higher than the city’s average increment level. The city produced 155 thousand tons of electrolytic aluminium, down 2.7% yoy; produced 632 thousand tons of alumina, down 3.6% yoy; produced 908 thousand tons of aluminum products, up 9.6% yoy. The growth of aluminium industry mainly benefit by the increase of aluminum rolling manufacturers. The aluminium rolling industry increased 14.0% yoy in Q1, the rate of contribution to aluminum industry growth reached 68.5% and add 9.1% to the growth of aluminum industry. But aluminium smelting industry declined 1.7% and pull-down 0.3% of aluminium industry growth rate.
