CHALIECO signs an EPC contract worth $498-ml with Venezuela's CVG Venalum

CHALIECO will continue to play the role of EPC contractor and work on recovering the capacities of 720 aluminium cells. It will remould 5 valves as well as 4 electrolytic series rectifiers, as mentioned by Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) on their website.

``This is a big breakthrough for CHALIECO to go into international market,’’ said the SASAC in a statement. CHALIECO is affiliated to the Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO).
