Chinalco NELA and HIT Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement

(China Aluminum Network) Chinalco Northeast Light Alloy Co., Ltd. (NELA) and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) signed a strategic cooperation agreement after friendly negotiation. It is an important measure to promote long-term strategic cooperation and a sign of new start.
It is learned that as the important aluminum magnesium alloy material research and development base and domestic well-known college, both parties have extensive cooperation base in spaceflight, aviation, rail transit and automobile field. They will conducted deep cooperation on the research and development of aluminum magnesium alloy and Al-Ti alloy that can use under the condition of super speed, ultrahigh strength and super high temperature; make full use of HIT’s Materials Science and Engineering College, Industrial Technology Research Institute and NELA’s technical centre, production field and excellent technological resources, to facilitate both parties’ growth and the improvement of China’s aluminum magnesium alloy technology.
