Fitch Ratings Expected China Aluminum Price Will Maintain Low Level in Two Years

(China Aluminum Network) according to a new report of Fitch Ratings China aluminum price will maintain low level in the following two years, since the new factories which possessed cost advantages will put into operation.
The new factories possessed lower cost structure located at China's western region can make use of low power rate and rich coal supply. Lots of new factories have built captive power plant to control power rate, owing to power rate accounts for the most in the total production cost.
China government release new guidelines in October 2013, provide specific measure to control excess aluminum production capacity. The measures including forbid government subsidies through carry out step tariff, the government also plans to improve aluminum demand by the promotion of light-weight vehicle.
