Copper and Aluminum Output in China was Up

(China Aluminum Network) According to the official data that China’s refined copper output up 13.6% when compared with last year. Since smelting plant’s capacity was expanding to meet domestic demand.

China is the top manufacturer and consumer of most metals, last year consumed 6840 thousand tons of refined copper which increased slightly.

In last December, China produced 616,038 tons of copper while the figure was 654,803 tons in last November, decreased 5.9%.

In last year China’s primary aluminum output has increased 9.7% to 22,000 thousand tons, the aluminum output in last year was decreased 1.1% but up 10.5% when compared with December in 2012.
