The Import Volume of Primary Aluminum Increased 5 Folds in Dec.

(China Aluminum Network) According to the report that the import volume of primary aluminum in China has dropped 28.3% to 371,483 tons, but compared with 76,060 tons in last December increased five folds. This figure was the highest level since September, 2009.

Traders said from the end of November to December, a foreign supplier sold thousands tons of aluminum to Chinese buyers at 240 US dollars(premium) while other suppliers quoted 260 US dollars (premium), this is the factor stimulated the growth of import volume.
