Waste-heat Utilization Project of Chinalco Shandong Branch Received Great Results

(China Aluminum Network) Since enter into winter, Chinalco Shandong branch aluminum factory’s extruder casting bar heating furnace and profiles curing oven waste-heat utilization project received unexpected results and favorable economic benefit and public praise.

This project was started in this June, the company took one month to finish design, construction and installation with the cooperation between R&D center and production center. This project has largely improved the utilization rate of extruder and curing oven, also reduced the cost of factory self steam consumption. It can save 70 tons of steam, create 130 thousand Yuan of value which had added new highlights for company’s energy conservation and emission reduction, cost decreasing and benefit increasing.
