CHALCO Held Alumina Production Seminar

(China Aluminum Network) CHALCO held alumina production seminar on 13-14^th December, Luo Jianchuan, president; Liu Xiangmin, senior vice president; Xie Weizhi and Xubo, vice president of CHALCO attended this meeting.

CHALCO’s three alumina chief engineers and nine production technology vice presidents of alumina companies and related department heads also have attended this meeting.

At the meeting, three chief engineers, energy management department and business management department made a special report respectively; nine alumina companies and CHALCO business transition office made speeches also.

Liu Xiangmin analyzed existing advantages and disadvantages pointed out the alumina companies still remained development space and put forward major measure and targets of cost control. Luo Jianchuan analyzed alumina status quo require every company and department should boost market-oriented reform, innovate institution and mechanism, shrink calculation units and improve the competitiveness.
