India aluminum price lift energizes Chalco

Aluminum Corp of China (Chalco,) A shares posted strong rebound of 8.66 percent Friday and accelerated other aluminum companies and big-caps.

An analyst deemed the sharp rise should be partly attributed to the aluminum price rise.

India's biggest aluminum producer Nalco recently decided to raise the price to 2,800-3,000 US dollars per ton, higher than early expected 2,500-2,800 US dollars per ton.

But Chalco H shares performed calmly, up 0.938 percent, ending at 8.61 HK dollars.
