Tianjin Jinhe Bimetal¡¯s aluminum wire rod project comes online

Tianjin Jinhe Bimetal Wire Co. put online its 100,000-tpy aluminum wire rod production line recently, Inner Mongolia Daily reported today.

The newly-commenced production line is the 1st phase of the company’s 300,000-tpy aluminum wire rod project, with products mainly used for electrical purpose. It uses molten aluminium supplied by a local factory of China Power Investment Mengdong Energy Group Corp., the paper said.

The whole project, being divided into three phases, is invested by Tianjin Jinhe Group, with total investment of 1 billion yuan ($163 million).
