China Zhongwang gets approval to set up Aluminium Alloy Extrusion Processing Laboratory

China Zhongwang obtained co-approval from Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Department and Liaoning Provincial Finance Department to set up "Liaoning Provincial High-end Aluminium Alloy Extrusion Processing Laboratory."

The lab represents combined efforts of the industry, academia and research. It aims to conduct research on the high-end aluminium alloy extrusion technology, speed up the development of alloy and alloy processing industry, optimize the product mix, enhance industry technology level and innovation capability.

The lab passed the inspection of Liaoning Province Science Department and Finance Department. After obtaining the approval, the lab will enter construction phase (two years).

Upon the construction, the lab will possess top-notch equipment and technology, and a brilliant technology team. It will be able to produce high end quality products based on the needs of national economy, social development and the market. Together with aluminium and aluminium alloy production base, the lab can manufacture large cross-section and complicated aluminium extrusion product. Also, it will serve to train talents for the industry. With its R&D, design and production competitive advantages, China Zhongwang will further strengthen its leading position in high-end aluminium alloy extrusion sector which in turn drive the technology development.

The lab will receive funding and other government support during the construction phase.

China Zhongwang owns its provincial post-doc research center. It also collaborates with Northeastern University, Industry Research Center, China Heavy Machinery Research Center, Xi'An Heavy Machinery Research Center, AVIC The First Aircraft Institute. In 2012, the Company undertook 10 national, provincial, city and area science projects and 4 of which were national-level.
