China Primary Aluminum Output Reach 1863 Thousand Tons

(China Aluminum Network) China primary aluminum output in August up 1.3% M-O-M and 5.24% Y-O-Y; reached 1863 thousand tons and created new high.

The analysts stated that the new capacity in northwest region promoted the growth of aluminum output, and most of the existing capacity was still under operation.

The data shows China has produced 14,349 thousand tons of primary aluminum during previous 8 months, compared with the same period in last year increased 8.2%.

Henan which is the largest aluminum producer has produced 274,140 tons of primary aluminum in August, while Sinkiang produced 218,261 tons.
