Asia Aluminium Holdings, which was de-listed from Hong Kong's main board in 2006 due to poor share performance, plans to relist by next year with Hong Kong as its preferred market, the South China Morning Post reported.
"We're working on a listing plan and since our expansion will be finished by next year, the timing for re-listing will be right. We'll also consider other places for the listing but Hong Kong tops our list out of convenience," said chief executive Chan Yiu-tsuan.
Asia Aluminium has invested 6 bln yuan to develop its production base in Guangdong province, with an additional 400,000 tons of rolled products fabrication capacity.
