Alumina Import Volume Decreased 35% YOY

(China Aluminum Network) According to the data from China Customs that the import volume of alumina was 230 thousand tons in July, from January to July was 1,880 thousand tons£¬ decreased 35.7% when compared with the same period of last year.

The import volume of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products was 72,368 ton, the total amount was 459,232 tons from January to July, decreased 35.4% YOY.

The import volume of aluminum scrap was 210 thousand tons, from January to July imported 1,340 thousand tons, decreased 8.4% YOY.

At the same time, the export volume of unwrought aluminum was 36,874 tons, from January to July exported 303,489 tons totally, dropped 23.4% when compared with the same period of last year.
