(China Aluminum Network) According to GoldmanSachs that Chinese aluminum market needs further production reduction to avoid excess aluminum output and price pressure. It is said that they still hold cautious attitude to the global aluminum market in short and medium terms, till the high cost output ended in China.
GoldmanSachs stated that now China idled more capacity than before, amount to 700-750 thousand tons. Even so, if without more supply constrains, Chinese market’s hard-to-get situation will ended.
A report said the fundamentals of aluminum price still cautious, and production reduction volume in China recently will not balance global aluminum market pattern.
The analyst stated that China's local government offered more subsidies may further enlarge the gap between supply and demand.
